  12. Sadly enough this should have been in
  13. »CL1:Retro» issue 4.. »CL1:Soda» of »CL1:Darkage» and me
  14. worked alot on it, but we didn't make
  15. our ambitions to a reality. I haven't
  16. heard anything from »CL1:Soda» the last 4-5
  17. weeks, not on irc not even an e-mail.
  18. This while we planned to release the
  19. 4th issue in this time period..
  20. Luckily my old friend »CL1:CurtCool» was
  21. here to save the day, and I will
  22. support him from now on.. Sorry to all
  23. involved people in »CL1:Retro» but it wasn't
  24. ment to be I guess.. Read on about
  25. some Scenish things before I say the
  26. last words of this issue :)

  32. of THE coders at the moment. With his
  33. winning »CL1:Intel Outside Party 1998» demo
  34. he conquered the hearts of thousands
  35. amiga sceners in Europe. With years of
  36. coding in the background leading to
  37. his succes now. Ironicly enough I just
  38. found out 2-3 months ago that when I
  39. was on Holiday in »CL1:Poland» in 1994 (!) I
  40. was almost near his house, since I was
  41. staying in the same city Zig lives in:
  42. »CL1:'Katowice'» ... Even more ironic, when
  43. I was main-editor of »CL1:THING» magazine, -
  44. and I didn't remember it untill 2-3
  45. months ago - »CL1:ZIG» did the intro for
  46. Thing's first issue :)) (Released end
  47. of 1993 (!) Who said miracles do not
  48. excist?? :))

  54. around all those consoles. On TV
  55. programmes are made with all the
  56. latest reviews, items, news of those
  57. console games. And what a nice 3D
  58. sequences are to be seen in those
  59. games.. Anyway I was watching »CL1:'GAME
  60. ZONE'» on the dutch TMF channel, when
  61. there was an item about »CL1:Core Design».
  62. And who was sitting in the middle on
  63. the screen? Right! »CL1:Dan of Anarchy»! The
  64. mighty coder behind for example the
  65. »CL1:Legalise It 1+2» music disks. The same
  66. coder who I met at »CL1:TheParty1993», and
  67. who we brought to the Airport when
  68. TP'93 was finished in our car.

  70. This time he was coding on a »CL1:Ninja
  71. game». Few screenshots were shown, and
  72. it really looked aswesome... Again a
  73. few questions were being asked. I
  74. remember »CL1:Dan» said something that he
  75. wanted the old gaming of the 80's to
  76. be found back in (his) new '3D'
  77. console games of the late 90's.. :))

  79. It was a funny experience, and now
  80. looking back it still is :) Two months
  81. later »CL1:DAN» decided to rejoin the Amiga
  82. Scene and a new »CL1:Lemon.» demo is in the
  83. making by him..
